The Positive Psychology Service is here to help individuals, families, teams and organisations develop and grow into who they want to be. It was established by Dr Kerry Audin to bring together two branches of psychology: 'positive' and 'clinical'. Positive psychology is about developing strengths, building resilience and increasing positive emotions like optimism, courage and happiness. Clinical psychology is about overcoming difficulties, managing problems and reducing negative emotions like anxiety, depression and anger. Both are about promoting positive mental heath and learning to cope with the challenges that life throws at us.
